In addition, UMDA has developed successful parent partnership programs to provide long term developmental support to students and families.
Long Beach Early Childhood Education Committee
The Long Beach Early Childhood Education Committee, established in 2003, is a non-profit organization compromised of educators, advocates and caregivers of children ages zero to five who work together to promote high quality early care and education in our community. Members represent a broad array of cross-sector, interdisciplinary and collaborative partners whose missions are to support early care and education services, build capacity, and expand available resources to meet the needs of the young children and families of the greater Long Beach area.

County of Los Angeles Child Care Planning Committee
The mission of the Child Care Planning Committee (Planning Committee) is to engage parents, child care providers, allied organizations, community, and public agencies in collaborative planning efforts to improve the overall child care infrastructure of the County of Los Angeles, including the quality and continuity, affordability, and accessibility of child care and development services for all families.
Child Development Consortium of Los Angeles
The Child Development Consortium of Los Angeles (CDCLA) was created by early childhood educators and established as a nonprofit corporation in 1978. They provide direct early care and education services, consulting services to corporations and other child development programs, and parent education.

They are a professional organization of educators with a mission to advocate for positive social change in the field of early childhood ed.

EveryChild California advocates for publicly funded early care and education programs across the state, by supporting the development of the child’s social, emotional and intellectual well being, all while in a safe and high quality learning environment. They help provide leadership and technical assistance to the early education field while working hard to be a steadfast and strong voice for all of California’s children and families.
