We believe that parents are a child’s first andmost powerful teacher.
When parents take an active role in their children’s education, both children and parents benefit. Parent involvement enhances children’s self-esteem, improves children’s academic success, improves parent-child relationships, helps parents develop a positive attitude towards school, and provides parents with a better understanding of the necessity for early childhood education. Volunteer participation and assistance from parents/guardians is encouraged.

Having strong parental ties through the active participation of parents, in the life of the school, is invaluable to the academic success of your children. Parents/guardians are encouraged to attend a minimum of three (3) parent workshops.
Preschool Parent Volunteer Service
Throughout the school year there are opportunities for you to volunteer in your child’s classroom, in the school, and for special events. UMDA Preschool welcomes your involvement and participation!
