Through gardening, children engage all of their senses and improve crucial skills such as fine motor and locomotor skills. It is a fun way to enjoy nature and it can be enjoyed at any age! ☀️🍃
Join us tomorrow as we explore strategies to encourage home gardening.

🌷This workshop will be held at our 1480 Long Beach Blvd location at 8:00 AM on October 22, 2024.

A través de la jardinería, los niños activan todos sus sentidos y mejoran habilidades cruciales como la motricidad fina y la locomoción.

¡Es una forma divertida de disfrutar de la naturaleza y se puede disfrutar a cualquier edad!

We’re excited to share that we’ve started a Yoga & Wellness Program at UMDA! 🌟

Thanks to a generous grant from the @publichealthinstitute Center for Wellness and Nutrition, our children are learning fun ways to move their bodies, practice breathing, and feel good inside and out. 🧘‍♂️

This program is all about helping them relax, focus, and take care of their bodies and minds. We’re so grateful for this opportunity to bring more wellness into our classrooms and support our students in new ways.

Este programa tiene como objetivo ayudarlos a relajarse, concentrarse y cuidar sus cuerpos y mentes. Estamos muy agradecidos por esta oportunidad de traer más bienestar a nuestras aulas y apoyar a nuestros estudiantes de nuevas maneras.
